My work is interactive exploring ways of engaging audiences through Theatre, Painting and Installation through collaborative projets and my own work

Recently this has included Design for Faust by The Silver Hammer (Bradford 2007), creating an immersive piece of theatre that explored the use of motion capture technology in performance;  Under the Rainbow, Red Octopus (Liverpool 2007)  a sensory story project for special needs audiences across Merseyside 

 Previous work includes Design for Romeo and Juliet, co-oproduction between ACT and Kala Sangam, Bradford (2006); An interactive shed installation I love West Leeds Festival / Interplay Theatre (2007);  Building Blocks an interactive sculpture was selected for ‘Tactile’ a national exhibition of tactile art at The Otter Gallery, University of Chichester, March 2007. I also regularly deliver workshops for all ages and abilities in puppet making, set design and installation.

 

I trained in Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University (2002)

International training undertaken includes a European Training Services placement in Venice (mask making) and Puppets in Prague, a course in traditional Czech puppetry.

I returned to Prague last year to attend PQ 07 - a truly inspirational expereince!
