I am computer literate, skilled in Microsoft Word and the Windows operating system, as well as competent with MS Excel and Outlook, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premier, Sony Vegas and Auctionsound. I also have experience of Mac and Linux operating systems.
Typing, editing and research skills were developed during the process of constructing a dissertation for a BA degree, which achieved an upper second (2:1) .
I am organised and hard working, am able to work well under pressure and thrive on an active and busy environment. I have a cheery and calm temperament and an open minded approach. I am responsible and honest and respectful of other individuals and property. I am a team player and am happy in both leading and being instructed, I support and encourage members to maximise the teams potential.
As a trained theatre designer I am skilled in set design, lighting, set and prop construction, costume design, stage direction and concept artwork. I am also skilled in model making, animation, puppet design and construction, scriptwriting, filming and sound recording, editing and post production, costume construction, carpentry and photography. I have performed in several projects whilst at university including a dance piece at the V&A in 2007 which also planned to show at Glastonbury festival, acting as the leading lady in a 3rd year student film set on Wimbledon common, designing and performing in a Corridor site specific installation entitled 'DEEP END' at Marshall Street Baths in Soho, London, and designing and building the set for a short version of Hamlet at Wimbledon College of Art in 2007.
I have been a member of The Scout Association for many years and achieved various awards varying from Master at Arms (rifle shooting) to British Red Cross First Aid certificate. These awards have provided me with a broad range of skills and abilities. I have also frequently been in charge of groups of children and have passed a CRB check.
I hold several certificates in various forms of dance, including up to grade 5 Ballet, grade 3 Tap, grade 3 Modern and silver Jazz. Swimming is also a hobby of mine and I have completed several courses including a lifeguard course.
