Dan is currently available to undertake Production and Project Management positions. He is particularly interested in any work involving additional Set, Sound, Lighting or Video Design.

Lyn Gardner (The Guardian) recently said the following of his work on 'Strippers & Gentlemen':

"all power to director and designer Dan Marsden, who demonstrates real flair and ambition with this piece"

Whilst training at The Central School of Speech & Drama, Dan founded performance company Son et Lumière and staged his first performance (My Arm by Tim Crouch) in July 2006. He then went on to produce the sell-out production 'Blind' at The Institute of Contemporary Arts in May 2007 and collaborated with LDR on the production 'Sfumato' which premiered at the Victoria & Albert Museum as part of the special Theatre Design Friday Late in February 2008. At the end of his degree, Dan completed a written study entitled 'Scenography | Framing Performance in the 21st Century'  and shortly after directed & designed the critically acclaimed site-sensitive production of Rose Lewenstein's 'Strippers & Gentlemen' at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with his own creative production company - SEL Live.
