Ginny Yang's current MA final project explores costume-centered, audience-participatory performance. She is primarily interested in physical theatre performances/events in unconventional spaces, collaborative devising with artists of other concentrations, and utilising active audience involvement.

Her skills include costume design and construction (with training at a 4-week summer intensive course on garment construction/ patterning at Kookje Fashion School in Seoul, Korea), pattern cutting, draping, model making, lighting rigging and board operation (Strand 300 & 500), stage managing, and set dressing.

She has worked with regional companies in and out of Boston including Whistler In The Dark Theatre, The Theater Offensive, MetroStage Company in various roles such as costume designer, lighting assistant, graphic designer, and administration.

She has worked in venues such as the Boston Playwright's Theatre, Cambridge YMCA Family Theatre, and Boston Center for the Arts in Boston; Drill Hall, Lyric Hammersmith, and New Peckham Varieties Theatre in London.
