Andreea Mincic is a New York based visual artist. She works mostly as scenic designer, painter and design assistant , but she also loves designing costumes and lights.
She has worked professionally in Europe and the United States. Her work participated at numerous theatre festivals and exhibitions ( Clambake – New York 2005, World Stage Design- Toronto 2005, Young Designers Forum, SETC, Buro for Off Theatre – Leipzig, Fulcrum- Prague, Aerowaves - London, Prague Quadrennial, etc.)
She collaborated with Santa Fe Opera, Berkely Repertory Theatre, LOFT- Germany, The Place - UK, MultiArtDance Center, Cleveland Play House, Kansas City Repertory Theater, Hudson Stage, Soho Rep, Lamb's Theater, Labirinth Theatre Company, TACT, St.Ann's Warehouse, Hoi Polloi ,Vital Theatre Company, Children's Theatre Company, 31Down, and TENT.
Andreea graduated in June 2005 with a Master of Fine Arts in scenography from Ohio University. She is originally from Bucharest, Romania where she got her BFA in scenic and costume design at the University of Fine Arts (1998).
