Art history, world history, technology, cultural studies, literature—the process of design for me includes all these fields and more, and almost limitless potential to learn new things. I am always looking for a challenge and learning through experimentation and activity. I want my designs to take the viewer somewhere and to reveal to them a world within its people.

I hold a B.A. from Hampshire College, where I concentrated in Costume Design, History and Storytelling. The title of my Division III (or thesis) work was "The Fashions of Imaginary People: Creating Culture Through Costume."
