dscn0142.JPGSix months after the greatest scenography event in the year I found myself impressed about the quadrienalle effect, wearing my hamlet is dead t-shirt I found myself alone on a desert beach in mexico when suddenly I started saying hamlet `s best known quotedscn0144.JPG. suddenly my life changed and dreamgirls came following the call. It was kind of a male animal call. dscn0145.JPGTo me it was kind of logical because, after considering me not so great looking , hamlet is kind of the alter ego of theatre and set designers. dscn0146.JPGI wonder what would happen if I was wearing my Hamlet is NOT dead t-shirt.
just saving this por posterity, I would like to show this little great puppet that was a sweet thing in pq, everybody loved it except pamela howard because this little guys roars where interrupting her one and only TOP TEN TALKSÂ pamela and this creature kind of look the same to me , no offense
Thought i’d share one of the last photographs I took in Prague. I’d just waved goodbye to Nikos Kalaitzidis at the Bus Station and was walking back to my hotel when something hanging on a lampost caught my eye: one of the last remaining… possibly the only remaining City Space Hybrid from the Scenofest/Prague Quadrennial. As far as I know it was the only bird made from metal, which im guessing saved it from the hands of momento hunters. It’s rusting wire and eye (made from an old broatch) seemed impossibly forlorn. And it was quite fitting that I should find it just as i’d said goodbye to my last remaining friend in Prague. I was so tempted to take it home with me… but I had a change of heart as i over-romantically hoped it might still be there in 2011
City Space Hybrids are the work of Denitsa Argiropulos, Kristyna Michajlova and Nikolay Pavlov from Bulgaria.
